Up-and-comer Draeden has released his cinematic dubstep track called “Dystopia” on Seven Lions‘ Ophelia Records. The track is a sonic adventure through everything heavy and melodic.

Draeden · Dystopia

The track opens with a ferocious sweep and a pulsing bass that sets a dark tone. Draeden introduces an ethereal pluck that carries the listener into the cunning vocal melodies. He uses a beautiful array of orchestral elements to heighten the track into a progressive polished dubstep dystopia. The shocking blend of orchestral elements and swinging basses and synths undergo an impressive evolution throughout the track’s progression. Draeden mellows everything out towards the end, allowing the distant piano and angelic strings to frolic off into the darkness of the dystopia.
